After a crazy heavy dinner, I convinced Talal to take me to Honey Art Cafe. I had been researching Houston food bloggers and discovered these masterpieces. The best part wasn't the delicious banana-granola-waffle-vanilla ice cream-treat, it was the picturesque tiny shop with rentable water color sets. From the outside, you could never tell what was happening beyond those tinted glass doors.

I asked, urged, and begged Talal to water color with me. After a couple stern NOs, I decided: Next time, I'll bring Mommy.
