Highly Anticipated

For no special occasion or any apparent reason, Talal and I decided to treat ourselves to an elegant date night dinner. It's not often that you can show up to a random restaurant in Houston and be seated immediately on a Friday or Saturday night. So, I popped open the OpenTable app on my phone to see what was available. Pretty quickly, I saw an open spot at Le Colonial. Regardless of the mixed reviews from friends and family, I'd been eager to try it for quite some time.

The food was good. Although not as special as I had hoped for, it was perfectly romantic - dimly-lit and a small candle on each table.
